Letters and Sounds

For our letters and sounds activity this week the children will be experiencing different sounds made by musical instruments. They will experience and develop awareness of sounds alongside their listening skills.

Story of the week

To go with our theme of 'Colours and Shapes' the story of the week this week is all about Elmer the very colourful elephant!

Name writing

This week the children have been drawing a self portrait. Along with this they have been writing their names. Well done Thomas, your name writing skills are very good.

Story of the week

We are all going on a bear hunt in the school hall!!! Ask your child if we found the bear, with it's big round eyes and its big wet shiny nose. Will we be going on a bear hunt again?

A fond farewell

A fond farewell to Mr Roe, who left us yesterday for pastures new. We are very grateful for all that he has done for nursery. Goodbye and good luck!
