Goodbye and good luck

We say a fond farewell to Joshy, who is leaving nursery for pastures new. Connor and Isaac also say goodbye to him. We wish you and your family lots of luck and please keep in touch.

Story of the week

Little Daisy rabbit loves the woolly hat that Granny made for her. Mummy says spring is coming, and soon it'll be far too hot for woolly hats, but Daisy is determined. Who needs spring? She's going to wear her favourite hat forever!

Visiting the mobile library

Mrs Orme took Logan and Jayden as they went for a walk to the mobile library. Several books were chosen including 'Batman', 'Angelica Sprocket's Pockets', 'The Great Granny Gang' and 'Splish-Splash'. Over the next two weeks please ask your children about the stories. See if they can retell the stories to you.

The moon and back before bedtime? Whatever next! Our story of the week is about baby bear who manages to fly to the moon. Please ask your child about the story and let us know what they say.

Megaminimals self portraits

Our self portraits

The nursery children have been looking into a mirror today, in order to create their self portraits. When you walk into nursery have a look at the wonderful pictures hanging up. You could also ask your child about their picture.

Feeling Happy Feeling Safe

This weeks story is about the adventures of Mike, James, Emma and Anne. The children learn about how to deal with unpleasant experiences, such as getting lost, keeping safe and being bullied. Nursery children have been listening to the different stories and then talking about how it makes them feel. For more information please speak to a member of staff.

Happy Birthday

Wishing Ella a very happy 3rd birthday and Connor a very happy 4th birthday. Thank you for bringing in the chocolates, sweets and muffins. Yummy xxx

A visit to the mobile library

Well done to Grace and Joshy for visiting the mobile library this morning. They were very keen to choose lots of different story books for the children in nursery to read.

Story Of The Week

We have chosen 'The Gruffalo' story for our first story of the week this year because the children really enjoy it! Walk further into the deep dark wood, and discover what happens when the quick-thinking mouse comes face to face with an owl, a snake and a hungry gruffalo....
