Halloween Cakes!!

The nursery children have celebrated Halloween by dressing up and by decorating some yummy cakes!

It was lovely to see so many nursery children attend the Halloween disco. Happy Halloween everybody!!!

Story of the week

Our story of the week is about a big skeleton, a small skeleton and a dog skeleton. They decide to go for a walk in the middle of the night. Ask your child about the story and they should be able to tell you all about it!!

Fire Drill

The morning children experienced a fire drill today. All the children behaved appropriately and lined up correctly. Well done nursery.

Happy Birthday Rio

A very happy 3rd birthday to Rio, who celebrated by bringing in lots of sweets for the nursery children.

It was lovely as always to see so many parents/carers taking such an interest in their child's learning journey. All the children were very well behaved and even Mrs Pryce, the school's deputy head came down into the hall to see what was going on! Well done everybody.

Story of the week

Mrs Lemm has been reading our story of the week, all about a lonely scarecrow. Poor scarecrow, all he wants to do is be friends with all the woodland creatures, ah!

A very big 'happy 4th birthday' to Evan, who has celebrated by eating lots of cakes and biscuits in nursery!!

Happy 4th birthday to Thomas and Arthur. A big thank you for the chocolate and sweets that the nursery children have eaten today!! We hope you both have a great birthday.

What a day for a walk!!

The nursery and Reception children got wet while walking around the lake today. Well done to everyone for joining in with the fun!!

Ruby is a small duckling, who in her own time leaves the nest to have her own family!!

National Poetry Day

A big thank you to Miss Guildford, for coming into nursery and reading the children a very special poem on National Poetry Day. The poem was called 'Adventure at Breakfast Time' by Irene Yates and was part of many poems out of a book that Miss Guildford received  when she was in nursery herself.  The children were so well behaved and listened attentively, that a biscuit for snack time was on the menu!!!

Story of the week

Our story of the week is called Monkey Puzzle. "I've lost my mum!" "Hush, little monkey, don't you cry, I'll help you find her," said Butterfly. But somehow Butterfly keeps getting it wrong. Will Monkey ever find his mum?
