Story of the week

Piglet decides to say "Boo!" to all the different animals on the farm. The animals are not really happy about this and Baggy Bull decides to bellow for his supper. This really scares piglet and he nearly jumps out of his skin!!

Celebration Assembly

Well done to Isabella and Thomas for collecting their celebration certificates from Mrs Savage during celebration assembly. Thomas received his certificate for always having smile on his face and Isabella collected hers for excellent name writing.

Mother's Day

All this week the children have been making Mother's Day baskets. Ah, don't they look lovely!

Mobile Library

Isaac and Ella visited the mobile libary this morning. They chose lots of different books for the nursery children to look through.

Sport Relief 2014

Just a few of the children and their grown-ups, walking around Albert Village lake. What a lovely, breezy and sunny morning. Well done to everyone for taking the time to help raise money for those who are less fortunate than ourselves.

Story of the week

Sometimes, when you love someone very, very much, you want to find a way of describing how great your feelings are. But, as Little Nutbrown Hare and Big Nutbrown Hare discover, love is not an easy thing to measure.

Well done to Arthur and Emily for receiving their 'star of the week' certificates from Mrs Savage during celebration assembly. Emily can recognise letter sounds and names, while Arthur has shown great progress in leaving mum well on arrival.

"QUIET!" roars Pa lion. And all is quiet in the jungle. Not a rumble nor a grumble, not a chitter nor a chatter, not a pitter nor a patter, not a teeny, tiny squeak. Now Pa lion must make sure it stays this way as baby Leo sleepd. But, oh no, what's that terrible noise......? Please ask your child about the story, to find out who wakes up baby Leo.

World Book Day Thursday March 6th

To help celebrate World Book Day, the nursery children kindly brought in their storybooks from home to share with us. The afternoon children also went for a walk around the school, to have a look at the wonderful creations all the children had made in conjunction with some stories they had read. Well done everyone!

Robots made from recycled cardboard

The nursery children have been creating lots of different robots from recycled cardboard boxes. Wow, dont they look great. We will be doing this all week so please ask your child all about it!
