Story of the week

The Pig in the Pond is all about farmer Neligan. He goes to town and leaves his pig sitting in the pond, watching the ducks and geese play on the cool water. The pig gets hotter and hotter; the ducks and the geese get louder and louder.... Then Neligan's pig does something quite unheard of!

Celebration Assembly

Well done to Jayden and Zara for receiving their 'star of the week' certificates from Mrs Savage during celebration assembly. Well done to all the children for sitting appropriately.

A big thank you

A big thank you to Audrey, Mrs Orme's Aunty who very kindly made nursery some cushions and a wrap around cover for our new tuff spot. This was due to Mrs Orme and Mrs Brealey's recent training on supporting two year old children. Thank you to everyone involved.

Easter egg decorating competition

Well done to three nursery children for winning first, second and third prizes in the Easter egg decorating competition. Hayden came first, Isabella was second and Jacob came third. What wonderful creations!!

Visiting the mobile library

Meredith visited the mobile library this morning with Mrs Orme. She collected lots of different books for the nursery children to read.

Celebration assembly

Well done to Aiden and Ava for receiving their 'star of the week' certificates from Mrs Savage during celebration assembly. Ava is a clever girl because she can write her name really well and Aiden always tries his best in everything he does. The nursery children sat really well all the way through assembly and Mrs Savage was very impressed.

Royal Navy Helicopter Visit

Wow, this morning the nursery and school children had a wonderful surprise. They were visited by a Royal Navy helicopter.

Morning Parent/Carer Workshop

The morning children were joined by their parents and carers today, to take part in our annual Easter/Spring workshop. There were lots of activites for the children to complete and the adults had a chance to look through their child's learning journey.

Afternoon Parent/Carer Workshop

It was lovely to see all the afternoon children's parents taking part in our annual Easter/Spring workshop. A big thank you to everyone involved.
